About the Practitioner

WILLIAM WAN'S first memory of "hitting the wall" while exercising was at the age of 8.  His grandfather took him on a hike up into the mountains of Taiwan.  His legs felt like lead and his head felt like a balloon. His grandfather carried him up the last 1/2 mile to the top. Right then, William's curiosity about the human potential to move was sparked.

When an athlete performs at an optimal level, how does he/she move so fluidly and their performance so effortless?  When an athlete is in the Zone, there is access to incredible strength, endurance, perseverance, focus, and will.  You become in sync with yourself and show total dominance over whatever sport you are pursuing.  You have mastered a certain flow of your body. This is gained through the time, sweat, and effort you have devoted to your practice. You gain a sense of "the here and now" through awareness of your body's ability to move.
